Skanörs Havsbad
Bathing beach in Skanör
The beach section in Skanör, called Skanörs Havsbad, is one of the most popular sections of the over 10-kilometer long beach on the west side of the peninsula Falsterbonäset.
Skanörs Havsbad is very close to the marina of Skanör and is well known for its fine sand and picturesque bathing huts.
The beach is wide, with its shallow water suitable for smaller children and in high season very well attended. You can find toilets and drinking water at the beach. Right at the harbor is a bathing jetty. Another stretch of beach is straight north of the harbor. Further north, behind the bathing huts, is Skanörs nude beach Svanrevet.
Skanörs Havsbad is guarded by the Falsterbonäsets Livräddare (Falsterbo's lifeguards). At the beach is also an area designated for surfing. At the harbor is a fish shop and a fish smokehouse, both with service. The surrounding parking lots are not free during the high season.
