Gummarpsbadet
Beach at the lake Mycklaflon near Förenäs
The beach Gummarsbadet is located within the nature reserve Norrsånna Lövskogs Naturreservat on the northern shore of the lake Mycklaflon near Förenäs, about 22 kilometers southeast of Eksjö.
Gummarpsbadet consists of a beautiful, one hundred meters long sandy beach. There are some individual trees on the associated lawn under which you can find shade if needed. The shore area is relatively shallow and drops slowly to the first twenty meters.
The south facing bathing spot offers full sunshine from early morning to late afternoon and at the same time a broad view over the Mycklaflon, which is the second largest lake in the municipality Eksjö with more than 11 square kilometers.
The equipment of the beach is a long jetty, a bathing island and barbecues areas. On the immediately adjacent small campsite Mycklaflons Camping are toilets, a kiosk and snack bar as well as a rowboat and canoe rental.
