Sjöby Badplats
Bathing place at lake Åsnen near Grimslöv
The small beach Sjöby Badplats is situated in the middle of some open fields on the western shore of lake Åsnen, not far from the small village Grimslöv in the southern half of the municipality of Alvesta Kommun.
Sjöby Badplats consists of a small sandy beach with a relatively shallow shore area and a sunbathing lawn. The other facilities of the bathing place include a permanent fireplace, a picnic table with benches and a wooden deck directly at the shore.
A toilet is located in the base of the observation tower, which is located at the edge of the adjacent parking lot. From the top of the tower you have a wide view over the northern part of lake Åsnen.
