Ulvös Badplats
Bathing place at lake Åsnen
The small bathing place Ulvös Badplats is located in the village Ulvö at the edge of the national park Åsnen in the extreme south of the municipality Alvesta Kommun and offers a beautiful view over the lake Åsnen.
Ulvös Badplats is situated a little hidden within a small forest on the western shore of Lake Åsnen and consists of a short sandy strip of land along the shore, a wooden bathing bridge and a wide wooden deck with benches and a picnic table. As the bathing area is slightly oriented to the northeast and the shore is wooded up to the waterline, the shore area is in the full shade of the trees from midday onwards.
However, the wooden deck, which projects a few metres into the lake, lies in the sun until the evening and offers a nice opportunity for sunbathing or to let the sun dry you after a bath in the cool water of the lake.
