Bröddarps Mölla
Post mill near Västra Ingelstad
The windmill Bröddarps Mölla is a post mill; the whole body of the mill is mounted on a vertical post and can be rotated. It was built in 1840/41 and is located north of the village Västra Ingelstad.
With enough wind, Bröddarps Mölla could produce 300 to 400 kg of flour per hour.
The mill was in operation until it was heavily damaged during an autumn storm in 1967. It was then given to the local heritage association. In 1975, the mill was declared a historical monument, restored by the heritage association and is now fully functional again.
