Måneld Form
Ceramics studio in Linneryd
Måneld Form is the studio of the ceramic artist Elisa Måneld, which she set up in the rustic ambience of a former stable building on the outskirts of Linneryd.
The works that Elisa Måneld creates as sculptures or on the potters' wheel are quite exceptional. Their style is in the widest sense of naive art and contains playful elements, some of which are also spiced with a pinch of humor.
In contrast to many ceramists who produce high-quality utility ceramics in various forms, designs and colors, Måneld uses clay to express various artistic ideas. But there are not only decorativr objects in the studio, but also artistically designed utility ceramics.
Elisa Måneld's work is diverse and changeable – she speaks of a certain restlessness, which always let her search for new ideas. Because of this, she has acquired a great knowledge of different processing techniques. She has mastered many different firing techniques, including the Japanese raku firing, and she produces all glazes according to her own recipes.
In various courses on the former hayloft, Elisa Måneld teaches her knowledge about the artistic work with clay and the various processing techniques to beginners and advanced ceramic artists.
