Klagshamns Badplats
Sandy beach south of Malmö
Klagshamns Badplats is located on the headland Klagshamnsudde, near of Malmös suburb Bunkeflostrand. The approximately 250 meter long and 20 meter wide natural sandy beach has beautiful surroundings and is located directly on the Öresund, in the vicinity of a marina.
The shore on Klagshamns Badplats is very shallow and suitable for smaller children. But there are also a bathing jetty, if you want to get faster into deep water. For sunbathing you can either lie on the sand or use the lawn located above the beach.
During the bathing season (May 15 to September 15) there are toilets and showers and the beach is open daily from 10 to 18 o'clock and is set with a lifeguard. There are numerous parking lots near the beach. The beach can be very well attended in good weather (especially on weekends), but on-street parking should not be a problem.
